How we designed a rich visual experience that made our client stand out from the crowd.

Vossemeren was founded in 2000. They started with housing projects in and around Antwerp but are currently developing all over Europe. They offer an attractive mix of residential projects but also realise offices and hotels.

But their outdated website wasn’t fit to show these amazing new developments to the world. That’s why Superlab was asked to come up with a concept for their corporate website. The main goal of this website was to showcase their portfolio and to make their brand shine.

What we did

Ideation & creativity | Web design

Laying the foundations.
Research & sketching

Vossemeren wasn’t looking for an everyday website. They wanted a rich, animated interface with a focus on their portfolio and an aesthetic that matched their visual identity. So instead of jumping into user stories and wireframes we took out our pencil and paper and started sketching interface concepts.

Building the blocks.
UI design

We opted for an interface design that’s based on the angular shapes from their logo. By using a scroll-hijack mechanism we created a fluid transition from one component to the other.
